Printmakers Cleaner will remove resists and other stopping-out types of varnish, it will also remove traditional hard and soft grounds. Scrim can be washed in the fluid and hung outside to dry, the fluid saved and reused many times.
Use Zest-it® Printmakers Cleaner as a non-flammable alternative to ‘turps’ and white spirit for cleaning oil based ink from printing plates.
Can also be used on rollers and equipment. It is also nontoxic and kinder to the environment, with a pleasant citrus smell.
Printmakers Cleaner does not mix with water, therefore any acrylic or water based inks will not be suitable - try our Printmakers Washdown.
Keeping hands wet with fluid can cause skin dryness - use a barrier cream or Nitrile gloves
